Nyön is a suitable stop on your way out on the water in the summer or the ice in the winter. Here you can, for example, walk, ski, skate or snowmobile across the ice in the winter. Then you can also take the boat here in the summer, or why not paddle? There is a landing platform available.
The island is a large concrete pillar that was once used to park ships over a hundred years ago. Today it is used for barbecuing in the summerhouse, soaking in the sauna, having coffee at the bench and enjoying the view. Whether it is the sparkling water or the shining ice, you have a view to enjoy all year round here!
You will find the island behind the saw out in the water by the river inlet. It is located near the old dock.
